This thesis explores the optimization of manufacturing processes through the application of automation. The study highlights the importance of automation in manufacturing as well as Shop floor management. An optimization plan will be developed, targeting specific areas for automation to enhance efficiency and productivity. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be defined to assess the potential impact and effectiveness of the proposed changes. Data provided by Rollexco Zrt supports the research. Moreover, this theoretical investigation will examine how automation can address key problems identified within the production process. The study will also explore the implications of automation, including its impact on operational costs and overall equipment effectiveness.
