In a fast growing world with immense technologies, Virtual reality plays a huge role in numerous application fields, such as architecture, engineering and education as it serves as a tool by which we can design and construct our own unique reality. The Virtual Reality industry has shown to grow very rapidly with its cutting-edge interfaces that mimics a real-world setting. The use of virtual reality makes it easier to travel to the past via a simulated environment. I was able to introduce a project with an old house in The United Arab Emirates before all the modernization that took place due to discovery of crude oil including a virtual space that depicts the old environment with natural resources in the UAE as well as a way to setup the headset and controllers for the player to enjoy the project. In this thesis, research is done about the history and development of both Virtual Reality and the traditional architecture in the UAE as well as building a traditional UAE home and implementing VR to it and execute an environment that matches the history, aesthetics and minimalism.
