dc.description.abstractThe production planning process is crucial in manufacturing operations because it provides a strategic plan for optimal utilization of resources, on-time productivity, and customer approval. Demand forecasting, a critical phase in production planning and execution, involves analyzing historical data and previous sales orders in order to correctly forecast future demand. This forecasting method has significance for creating an effective sales plan. The SAP production planning module facilitates workflow and decision making at each stage of the process. The SAP PP module allows organizations to optimize their production processes and predict market demands effectively. Finally, the production planning process incorporates a strategic approach to manufacturing companies, emphasizing efficiency, agility, and customer focus.
