Absztrakt
Metagenome analysis is a technique that allows for the study of genetic material directly from environmental samples, providing insights into microbial communities without the need for lab cultures. This approach is valuable for understanding microbial diversity, evolution, and functions in various environments. The study utilizes metagenome sequencing to investigate Bacillus metagenome sequences using 10 contigs. The sequences were analyzed via NCBI's BLASTN program against the Core Nucleotide and RefSeq Genome databases. The top matches from both databases were compared to identify their taxonomic lineages. This analysis helps to highlight key Bacillus species within the sample and demonstrates the efficacy of using multiple databases for metagenomic analysis.
