This research was focused to identify the possible antifungal effect of agents (F; ASZ 08 G; BTI 19-I) on Candida albicans, Candida krusei and Candida parapsilosis. Along with (F; ASZ 08 G; BTI 19-I) we used abroad spectrum antifungal agent Amphotericin B. Antifungal activity of (F; ASZ 08 G; BTI 19-I) was ineffective against all three species in the experiment. ASZ 08 and BTI 19-I are L-iduronic acid derivates failed to stop the fungi in the wells. Many life-threatening fungal infections are an important cause of morbidity and mortality. This exceeding mortality rate and increasing anti-drug resistance of pathogenic fungi species creates the urge to find new antifungal agents for treatments with the novel mechanism of actions.hu_HU
