dc.description.abstractThis is a report submitted for fulfilling the requirements for the bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering at the University of Debrecen. The report is one made by the author on Artificial Intelligence algorithms. The topic was chosen because the author thinks it to be a fascinating subject. In this thesis, I decided to make a proof of concept where I demonstrated how artificial intelligence can outsmart and win against a human player. Research and explanation are shown throughout the entirety of the report, focusing on the algorithms that allow for problem-solving. Algorithms are described in detail, with their benefits and faults, and it is explained when it is best to use them. At the end of the report, I demonstrate my real-world application of using these algorithms and searches that allow me to develop a program that competitively plays against a human player. Using AI in development has allowed gaming to improve in intellect, ability and social intellect over time. It has enhanced gameplay and improved user experience, evolving and trying to mimic “human-like” intelligence, or even surpassing it in some instances.hu_HU
