My thesis focuses on Purifying Gallium-68 and Copper-61, isotopes used in medical imaging (PET scans). It essentially compares different methods and materials for producing these isotopes using a cyclotron. The most efficient method I delineated was using a specific type of resin and optimizing irradiation parameters.
