Medication-Management Application

Abstract

Medication adherence is vital in the health sector and is considered to be difficult to achieve. Patients need to adhere strictly to the directions concerning taking medications and attending scheduled appointments. In that regard, an automated Medication-Management System has been introduced to ease the interaction process between the doctor and the patient. The system ensures that patients can digitalize their medication routine and schedule reminders for taking the medication. Moreover, the patient provides feedback to the doctor directly based on his action towards his medications. The system incorporates scheduling of appointments and provision of calendars to the patient and the doctor, and provides real-time messaging capabilities to allow contact with both parties.
