dc.description.abstract | Thesis focuses on the use of Solar cells to power home electric systems e.g. TVs. I wrote about the history of solar panels then went on to list and describe the components needed for a complete system. I also listed the advantages, disadvantages and economic value of solar energy. The core of the thesis was building an inverter which converts the DC power supplied by the solar panel to AC which is needed for most of our home appliances. Finally I made measurements to prove my system works. | hu_HU |
