A Budgeting Program for Expense Tracking and Financial Planning

Abstract

The thesis describes how to create a basic financial management tool. The prototype was created using SQLite, Python, and CustomTkinter. The Model-View-Controller pattern was used to separate the application in layers, creating a more maintainable code. The Observer pattern was used to establish comunication between tabs. The prototype is proof that accesible tools and etablished architectural patterns can be used to create a financial management tool.
