Understanding the Transport Mechanism and Substrate Recognision of ABCG2
Absztrakt
In tumor cells, one of the significant overexpression comes from members of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transport superfamily which are the second major class of protein transporters involved in drug transport or disposal in cells. Different substrates and inhibitors in the binding cavity where reviewed to investigate the structural role of ABCG2 in drug extrusion in order to understand how ABCG2 can differentiate between substrates and inhibitors.
