Vaccines and Pharmacological Treatments for COVID‐19 (SARS-CoV-2)

The COVID-19 virus, which first appeared in China in December 2019, is one type of coronavirus that has an effect on birds and mammals, including humans. Seven sources of it are known to affect people, as only four human corona viruses cause cold or flu-like symptoms, while three other coronaviruses pose more serious risks. Three corona viruses of animal origin invaded humanity during the 21st century, as the first pandemic of the Corona virus (SARS-COV) was in 2002, and it was followed by the (MERS) pandemic in the Middle East in 2012, and the third of which humanity is still suffering from its impact so far is a pandemic (COVID-19) in 2019. These viruses are almost similar in structure, and due to their general danger, this necessitated conducting research and studies to find a vaccine and drug capable of stopping and eliminating them, especially the Covid-19 virus, which is distinguished from the rest by being faster and more dangerous.
