The diverse purposes behind investments, including education, marriage, and business, underscore the individualized nature of financial planning. The principle "No pain, no gain" is introduced, emphasizing the risk-reward dynamic in investment management. The text underscores the importance of careful consideration in choosing investment opportunities, leveraging one's knowledge, skills, and experiences. Key factors in investment decisions include the safety of the principal amount, liquidity, income stability, appreciation, and ease of adaptability. External factors, such as risks, returns, past performances, bonuses, diversification, and psychological considerations, also influence investment choices. Emphasizing the impact of emotions and psychological thinking on investor behaviour, the text recognizes that not all investments guarantee profitability, and investors' instincts may not always yield positive returns.
