This thesis presents the development of SwiftCart, an e-commerce real-time price comparison web application to assist users in making intelligent buying choices. The web application is developed on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) that enables users to obtain the best deals on products using APIs and web scraping via Puppeteer. Dynamic price updates, price history, a user-friendly interface, and a responsive layout optimized for each device. Security measures, responsive design, and efficient data handling mutually support each other to make shopping on your site safe and hassle-free. The project tackles some of the most common challenges of modern e­-commerce, such as dynamic pricing and fragmented data, and aims at transparency and fair conditions in online marketplaces.
