This study investigates the Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) changes in Khartoum State, Sudan, during the ongoing conflict that began in April 2023. Utilizing high-resolution Sentinel-2 Level 2A images from February 26, 2023, and March 22, 2024, the research examines the transformation of urban and natural landscapes due to socio-political unrest. The images were pre-processed using SNAP software and classified through the Random Trees algorithm in Arc map, validated by Google Earth Pro, and analyzed using a confusion matrix and Excel for detailed area calculations.
