dc.description.abstractThis thesis is about designing and implementing a hotel booking web application using modern technologies such as React.js for the frontend, Spring Boot and JPA for the backend, and PostgreSQL, which is the Database Management system. The goal of this project is to create an interactive and a secure web application for both the customers and the admins, aiming to improve the user experience, and to also provide an Admin-friendly platform for managing bookings and room reservations. The application includes sophisticated exception handling features to avoid errors from affecting user interactions. The installation of Spring Security prioritizes security issues, ensuring that data is handled safely with the help of a JWT token that is generated for each customer and admin. Overall, the whole web-application achieves the objectives of simplifying the booking process and providing an optimal user experience.
