    Bronchial asthma is an obstructive, non-communicable chronic disease. Currently, many pieces of research are being conducted to understand its pathophysiology and its treatable characteristics. The article talks about the different phenotypes and endotypes of the disease. The article brings forward different diagnostic methods, and Japanese treatment guidelines. The main treatments covered in the article include biological treatment and macrolides.
