    Copper toxicity and its effects on seed germination and enzymatic activities of MAS 582.D

    We investigated in this study the effect of copper toxicity on the growth parameters in the root, coleoptile, and the seedlings of MAS 582.D within the first 14-days of seed germination, as well as the enzymatic activity of α -amylase, peroxidases, and polyphenol Peroxidase in the seed in addition to the protein content in the seedlings. A pilot experiment was performed at the beginning for taking reference of Zea Mays L (popcorn maize).
