    E-residency in Estonia: Legal structures, Economic benefits and the case for implementation in Hungary

    This thesis explores the feasibility of an e-residency program in Hungary, using Estonia's model and insights from Lithuania, Portugal, and Singapore. It conducts a qualitative, scenario-based analysis, evaluating outcomes of the implementation of an e-residency program similar to the pioneer Estonia, under optimistic, moderate, and pessimistic conditions. Ultimately, the thesis underscores the importance of adaptable policies and strategic investments for Hungary to establish itself as a competitive digital hub in the EU.
