    Watchmen is a truthful representation of Cold War society and with the images about national tragedy it can be seen as a representation of the society in the 2000s. People react to these events the same way, no matter if it is in the 1940s, in the 1970s or in the present day. War creates tension, tension creates unrest and unrest triggers tragic events. This is a cycle, which we can observe through the history of humanity and Zack Snyder managed to represents this cycle in Watchmen with his shooting technique and with the images he used.
