    This thesis describes in detail about Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Section. Various factors affecting the success of vaginal delivery after caesarean section have been covered in the thesis. VBAC Calculator can also be used to help predict the success rate. Indications and contraindications have also been explained. The thesis also highlights the importance of counseling and guidance by healthcare professionals before a woman can decide on the mode of delivery. The hospitals offering this choice should have specific protocols and measures for the management of the patients and these have also been included in the thesis. The complications that can arise such as uterine rupture are also discussed. Finally, the thesis concludes with various case studies discussing the success of vaginal birth after caesarean section in multiparas, adolescents, and using a labor induction method: cervical ripening balloon.
