    The importance of the pharmaceutical industry is undeniable because its profound impact and manifold significance are widely recognized affecting not only the economy and society but very large numbers of human beings also. Many pharmaceutical products take on indispensable importance in people's lives, forming a mainstay of modern health services. Through its pursuit of medical-scientific innovation and radical advances in treatment, pharmaceutical science has changed the old models of medical care. Instead, it has passed hope into millions suffering from a gamut of illnesses and disorders that would once have been considered incurable. And in doing so it has provided them with cures as well. The pharmaceutical industry is also a great driving force for innovation and economic growth. Whether in terms of creation of jobs and trade-related activities, or the promotion of research and development projects-it pushes forward. The league of excellence that it nurtures forms a vibrant new landscape given over to knowledge spreading and business formation.
