    Cost-benefit Analysis of the 'Automated Sorting' Project at ZTO Express

    This complete report takes a strategic financial management and operational success of ZTO Express, a Chinese leading entity in the early developing express delivery industry having the time period of 2014 to 2025, in consideration. In view of this, a critical investigation of ZTO Express’ financial achievement emphasizes how the firm has managed to navigate the conundrums that come with the emergence of the online market in China. The study employs the principles of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Discounted Payback Period (DPP) as financial metrics to perform the comprehensive evaluation of revenue, cost, and profitability trends. This study reveals the key financial decisions and important business innovations which have been the backbone of the rapid development of ZTO Express. It particularly underlines the ZTO Express contribution as a breakthrough provider of instant logistics solutions and services in China and the e-commerce sector with analyzed implications for the leading stakeholders.
