    Saint Ladislaus’ Day Orations at the University of Vienna in the 17th Century. The University of Vienna played a highly important role in the promotion of Saint Ladislaus’ cult in the 16th century. The festive oration was presented on the occasion of the annual solemnities held in honour of St. Ladislaus by a specially chosen student. Due to the king’s presence and under the influence of Jesuit supervision actual political topics and analogies between Habsburg sovereigns and St. Ladislaus were highly appreciated in the text of orations. There are two sources of collected editions of St. Ladislaus day’s orations available for study. The first one is owed to Franciscus Xaverius Cetto who collected and published in 1693 orations presented after 1655. The second volume was produced by Miklós Jankovich at the end of the 18th century. The latter is the only source of Miklós Zrínyi’s first prose work (1634). He depicts St. Ladislaus as hero of knight king, predecissor of Ferdinand III. with the inclusion of first clues to Zrínyi’s future political programme. His thoughts are also reflected in the orations by counts Esterházy in which comparison to Habsburg monarchs gains even more emphasis. Similar parallelism appears on the portrait St. Ladislaus of the Nádasdy- Mausoleum which was inspired by the Augsburg and Brunn edition of the Thuróczy’s Chronicle (1488).

    Fogyasztói magatartás vizsgálata a tej és tejtermékek esetében

    Szakdolgozatom témája a tej és tejtermékek fogyasztói magatartása. Jelentős hangsúlyt fektettem az élelmiszer fogyasztói magatartásra, valamint a befolyásoló tényezők ismertetésére. A kutatásom alapvető célja, hogy átfogóbb kép alakuljon ki a mai tej és tejtermékek fogyasztási szokásairól, befolyásoló tényezőiről, beleértve a laktózérzékenyek szokásainak változását is. Kitérek a funkcionális élelmiszerek dinamikus növekedésére. A növekedést az egyre nagyobb számban megjelenő egészségtudatos fogyasztókkal magyarázhatjuk, szó esik a dolgozatban a mentes étrendet hirdető szakmai háttér nélküli véleményvezetőkről.

    Szakdolgozatom célja, hogy bemutassam a mesterséges intelligencia (MI) orvos-lásban, azon belül is a diagnosztikában való szerepét, a benne rejlő lehetőségeket illetve hogy kiderítsem, hogyan viszonyul a mai társadalom az egészségügyben történő alkalmazásához.

    Sleeping Beauty is Waking Up

    In my thesis I am concentrating on seven versions of the Sleeping Beauty tales: Basile’s Sun, Moon and Talia; Perrault’s Sleeping Beauty in the Wood; The Grimm brother’s Little Briar Rose; Jane Yolen’s Briar Rose; Alex Flinn’s Kiss in Time; and Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, and Maleficent. I compare the plots of these narratives and investigate to what extent one version diverges from others. I also study the appearance or absence of certain fairy tale elements and try to reflect upon the motivation of the occurring changes. I analyse the role of the main female characters – the lady/princess, the evil fairy, the other woman – and introduce the character development they underwent (if they did). My purpose is to observe the significant changes the Sleeping Beauty tale went through, mainly contrasting the manifestation of the curse (casting and breaking the curse). Moreover, I investigate the representation of the female characters in the stories and examine how the stereotypes concerning gender roles have transformed throughout history.
