    Representation of Native American Myths and Legends in Horror Movies

    The aim of my thesis is to examine the possible motivation behind using Native American themes, particularly myths and legends, in horror movies. After a general introduction, I analyze four movies both from the American and Native American point of view, on the basis of their motifs and effects on American society.
