    Virtual Reality for Mental Disorders

    In my thesis, I explore the use of Virtual Reality (VR) for treating mental disorders, focusing on its role in exposure therapy. I examine how VR can help patients confront phobias and anxiety in controlled, immersive environments. The research also looks at the effectiveness of Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) for conditions like PTSD and social anxiety. I developed VR environments using Unity, including simulations for height and spider phobias. Finally, I discuss the future potential and challenges of using VR in mental health treatment.
