    This thesis compares corporate law in the United States and France. In the literature review, the historical development of corporate law is discussed in both countries along with their current legal and regulatory environments. The United States follows common law, while France’s legal system is based on civil law. The literature review was followed by the findings on comparative corporate law in both countries in three main areas. organization of corporations corporate governance.     Fast fashion: Economy of Sweatshops

    This thesis explores the main tenets of ILS in literature review with regard to fashion industry (Garment & Textile production). It examines the difficulties for International Labour Standards to improve workers conditions and recommends multi-stakeholder model for improvement. Among the issues covered by ILS are fundamental human rights, occupational safety and health, wages and working hours etc. This thesis clarifies why such standards should be in place and why their implementation is important, confronting unethical practices and disregard for labour welfare.
