Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Effect of sufentanil in epidural anesthesia during laborKadkhodaei, Farnoosh; Lekli, Istvan; DE--Gyógyszerésztudományi Kar; Rusznyak, Agnes; Bak, IstvanThe rate of cesarean deliveries has risen as a result of women's fear of labor pain. During childbirth, epidural analgesia is a common method of pain reduction. Sufentanil is a lipophilic opioid analgesic that provides effective labor analgesia without causing the motor block, as well as quick onset and stability. Sufentanil is linked with faster recovery and a lower incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting than other opioids, however, it might cause itching following surgery. Sufentanil is 9 to 10 times stronger than fentanyl in terms of efficacy and safety and 4500-5000 times more potent than morphine. These characteristics make it suitable to replace another opioid during labor.
