    The Impact of COVID-19 on the Digital Transformation of Chinese Banks- the case of Ping An Bank

    The sudden epidemic has made the Chinese banking industry more and more competitive. If small and medium-sized banks do not make timely digital reforms to keep pace with the development of the banking industry worldwide, they will eventually be eliminated. This thesis explores the impact of COVID-19 on the digital transformation of Chinese banks, further analyzes it through the case of Ping An Bank, and gives relevant suggestions. The research is conducted by reading and citing relevant literature articles, using PEST, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces. The above problem analysis and suggestions are useful for the banking industry, but they need to be combined with banks' own characteristics and internal and external environment to carry out corresponding reforms. Finally, hope that the analysis of Ping An Bank will give some ideas to the banks in the same situation afterward.
