This condition, leading to root exposure, can result in hypersensitivity, root caries, and aesthetic issues. Treatment aims include optimal plaque control, complete root coverage, periodontal regeneration, and avoiding probing depths over 3 mm, with an emphasis on achieving ideal tissue bleeding and color. The Modified Coronally Advanced Flap (MCAF) and Modified Coronally Advanced Tunnel (MCAT) techniques, tailored to treat multiple gingival recessions based on gingival thickness, promote wound stability and tension-free flap closure. These approaches differentiate treatment based on thick and thin phenotypes, highlighting the significance of customized surgical techniques for enhanced periodontal regeneration.
