    My thesis highlights the present day pharmacotherapy of endometriosis. It covers the etiology, pathophysiology, classification, risk factors, symptoms, hormonal and non-hormonal treatment of the disease. Although endometriosis is an incurable disease, it is still necessary to understand the pharmacotherapy of drugs that help to alleviate symptoms. With some drugs being newly introduced and some still in experimental phase, there is a need for development of more drugs with even less side effects.
