    After decades of studies, brain tumors are one of the highest of all types of cancer. They can withstand almost all conventional and novel treatments is partly due to the unique cell-intrinsic and microenvironmental properties of neural tissues. So far, Glioblastoma multiforme is the most malignant form of brain tumors in adults. Gene therapy has been used in GBM with promising effects.
