    Culture plays an important role in diseases, its effects and treatment. Around the world people perceive ailments and pathologies differently and that poses a challenge to health care professionals around the world. To be able to understand the different possibilities and consequences of different practices and teachings in a background is what makes for a good doctor- patient relationship and ensures cultural sensitivity in clinical settings.
