    myBudgetPal is a concept formulated through the personal need to have a more efficient way of tracking personal finances. The conventional means of maintaining a firm understanding of personal finances were unintuitive and complicated to maintain, therefore, the simpler model of logging one's expenses and keeping receipts in specific locations was designed and implemented through the myBudgetPal application. Additionally, the process of saving up for something or splitting bills were two aspects of financial management that could also be largely improved. Therefore, features such as 'Collaborate' and 'UOM' were implemented to help further improve the quality of life of users of the application. The application aims to improve the overall financial literacy of its users and allow people to take control of their finances in a meaningful way.
