    In summary, this thesis provides an overview of the diagnostic criteria, pathophysiology, conventional pharmacological treatments, and herbal remedies for PMDD. While there are effective treatments available, further research is needed to improve our understanding of PMDD and develop more personalized and comprehensive treatment approaches including dose, duration, and combination with other medications. Besides the pharmacological approach, the impact of changing lifestyle to healthy one including regular exercise, balanced meal, good sleep is significant. By addressing the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors underlying PMDD, healthcare providers can support individuals better in managing their symptoms and improving their overall quality of lives.
