    Syphilis is the resultant disease of Treponema pallidum. It has been found to be endemic in tropical areas especially those with low socioeconomic status.The incidence is reported to be increasing in Men who have sex with Men. The symptoms present in different stages and especially connatal cases are particularly gruesome. Penicillin therapy has been very effective for treatment and management of symptoms.
