    Iron toxicity in humans causes a range of life threatening conditions. It causes the body to develop complications in liver, cancer, thalassemia and a range of other diseases affecting different organ systems in people. Commercially available Desferal drug is used for treating iron toxicity. It has been found that the Actinobacteria, Stretomyces pilosus produces siderophore that develops the compounds ferrioxiamines B.
