    Impact of liberalisation of tariffs on Nigeria's manufacturing sector

    The study examines the effects of liberalisation of tariffs on the manufacturing sector in Nigeria, as a result of the Continent-wide free trade area that was negotiated and signed. In order to improve sustainable economic growth, it is important that Nigeria diversify its economic base away from dependency on oil. Utilising Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis, the study tests hypotheses. The findings of the study reveal that the most statistically relevant determining factor is accumulation of capital.
