    Acute decompensated heart failure is one of the increasing causes of mortality especially among the elderly. This Thesis explains the etiology and biomarkers, including the classification of heart failure by the American Heart Association (AHA). It also highlights the pharmacoligical therapy as well as the preventive measures that could be adopted. A conclusion of the reason we experience an increase of this disease was emphasised. Also details were laid down on how we can help decrease the rise of the disease via the government and individual effort.
