The study conducts a comprehensive assessment of quality management systems, with a particular emphasis on operational aspects, safety, regulatory difficulties, and adaptation of methods. The study demonstrates that the systematic and proactive approach of APQP guarantees the production of high-quality goods at each phase, ranging from the initial idea to the final packing. Conversely, Six Sigma focuses on enhancing process efficiency and minimizing faults. This claim is supported by many case studies and an extensive literature study. The results indicate that while choosing between APQP and Six Sigma methodologies, it is crucial to consider certain organizational variables and industry prerequisites. The paper highlights that customer-centric methods, continuous improvement, and adaptation are crucial for staying competitive and guaranteeing compliance in quality management.
