Absztrakt
This thesis provides a comprehensive examination of the pathophysiology and pharmacological management of psoriasis, emphasizing the transition from broad immunosuppression to targeted cytokine therapy. It details how the TNF-α/IL-23/IL-17 axis serves as the primary driver of chronic inflammation, which in turn lays the groundwork for the development of targeted biologics. This thesis evaluates the evolution of treatment required to achieve skin clearance, focusing on advanced biological agents like selective p19 inhibitors and dual IL-17 blockers. Furthermore, the potential of oral small molecules, such as TYK2 inhibitors, and the integration of nanotechnology for improved drug delivery is explored.
