Absztrakt
In my essay, I will examine how Rebecca West’s novel Return of the Soldier (1918) represents shellshock caused by “The Great War”. In the second chapter, I will examine how Warwick Deeping represents the social changes, in his novel Sorrell and Son (1925), such as the blurring lines between the social classes and the status of women in British society.
