My thesis is about the binary oppositions in Salman Rushdie's novel, Haroun and the Sea of Stories. I look at the the different binary opposition pairs and how they are related to the Western metaphysical thinking. I try to deconstruct these oppositions by using the idea of "third space", a term coined by Homi Bhabha. I try to look into the novel and find anything that could be an escape from the world of oppositions.hu_HU
