Therapeutic Hypothermia after Cardiac Arrest
Absztrakt
The use of therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest has been shown to reduce mortality and improve neurological outcomes in several randomized controlled trials. This thesis provides a review of the physiology of resuscitation, the mechanism of action of therapeutic hypothermia, its practical aspects, potential complications, and a review of the most important clinical evidence.
