dc.description.abstractIn my thesis I would like to introduce how segregation was applied in American Baseball, how it affected the black athletes in the United States and how it was eventually ended. I detail the Negro Leagues, which were established for the blacks, I also write about Jackie Robinson, how he managed to break the color barrier in baseball and I close my thesis with presenting the black's situation today in sports.hu_HU
