dc.description.abstractThe article explores how e-commerce laws in China and the EU protect consumer rights. Next, it analyzes the impact of COVID-19 on online consumer behavior and e-commerce, and how these changes affect the development of e-commerce and the adaptation of consumer protection laws. The article emphasizes the importance of data protection in enhancing consumer trust. The impact of the EU's GDPR on global standards is explored. Discusses the legal challenges of cross-border e-commerce and how they can be addressed through international cooperation and legal framework reform. The paper compares e-commerce laws in China and the EU and makes recommendations for improving consumer protection.
