In the broad sense, ethical hacking is a technique used by a group of individuals to stop cybercriminals or black hat hackers from gaining access to an organization's and companies' systems you may have heard about ethical hackers or white hat hacking and it is becoming more and more widely used to help companies and organizations detect vulnerabilities that black hat hackers may maneuver later. The distinction between Black and White Hat hackers is primarily based on motive. Black Hats hack into systems with malicious intent for personal gain, while White Hats work with businesses to identify and fix vulnerabilities in their systems. This highlights the need for ethical hackers in the world to prevent information breaches caused by Black Hats.
