In my thesis, I am focusing on the addiction presented in the television series House MD. Furthermore, I would like to draw attention to the resemblance between the two figures: Dr. Gregory House, the protagonist of the series, and the famous British fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes. Both characters are well-known in the world, Holmes’s stories are shown in series and movies, and in House MD, his character served as an example for the doctor’s personality.hu_HU
