dc.description.abstractnowadays much interest has been focused on lipid based formulations, with particular emphasis on semi solid liquid crystals as a possible drug delivery system to improve the bioavailibility of poorly soluble drugs.the aim of this pharmD thesis work was to demonstrate this novel dosage forms from pharmaceutical stand point.the theoretical background of lipid API carriers had been described according to the relevant literature.formulation techniques had been presented according to the guideline of Gattefosse chemical company suggesstions.in addition to a detailed look at the technical aspects of liquid crystal formulation.this collection of theoretical and technical information and instruction might ensure useful data for pharmacon loaded liquid crystal formulation by suggesting different lipid compositions to reach better bioavailibility and compliance.hu_HU
