Investigation of the solvatochromic properties of 2-amino-7-isocyanofluorene

In this work our aim was to synthesize the fluorene analogue of a highly fluorescent solvatochromic dye 1-amino-5-isocyanonaphthalene, prepared by our research group previously, in order to improve its fluorescence properties.
